3. The Andrija Stampar Medal

    Each year, during its Annual Conference, ASPHER awards the prestigious Andrija Stampar Medal
    to a distinguished person for excellence in the field of Public Health.
    In 2006 the recipient was Dr. Josep Figueras.

4. Statutes
    The statutes of the Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region.

5. Deans and Directors Retreat
    The 2007 Deans & Directors' Retreat took place on 25 and 26 May in Bucharest, Romania.

6. ASPHER History
   The Association ASPHER was created in 1966. Since this date, each two years, ASPHER
   Members elect the President of ASPHER for two years.
