ASPHER Teaching & Practice Excellence Award

The call for 2026 ASPHER Teaching & Practice Excellence Award nominations is open.

Deadline 31 March 2026

Send nominations to community@aspher.org

This award recognizes outstanding achievements in public health teaching and practice of a School of Public Health within the ASPHER community (member school, accredited School or program of PH).  The aim of the award is to promote excellence in public health education and training across Europe by encouraging ASPHER member schools to share their best practices and success stories.

This annual award, in which all ASPHER members are invited to participate, showcases the best master programmes and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses offered by members of the Association. Three main characteristics of the programmes and courses will be assessed: impact, internationalisation, and innovation. These characteristics will be assessed by a panel of independent experts.

Nominations should include a description of the nominated SPH outstanding contributions in:

  • Demonstrating leadership in advancing health equity, member-focus, diversity, integrity, corporate-citizenship, Europe-centred global outlook or meaningful work (ASPHER core values) in the field of academic public health teaching or practic,
