NEW AND NOTEWORTHY
Editorial: How to communicate evidence against catchy erroneous arguments?
Building on previous actions to support the World Health Organization, ASPHER and EUPHA deployed a forum theatre at the EPH Conference in Helsinki to examine our ability as public health professionals to communicate evidence in a staged debate between fictional pro-WHO and anti-WHO politicians. The workshop revealed how the audience found the emotionally based, anti-evidence narrative most compelling, debunking the assumption that facts speak for themselves. Stay tuned for more developments and read the editorial here.
