Webinar: Vax-Action Project addressing vaccine hesitancy across Europe

06.05.2026 | Public

The Vax-Action Project webinar, organised for European Public Health Week, will focus on addressing vaccine hesitancy across Europe through evidence-based and context-specific interventions. A key emphasis of the session is on strengthening the health workforce, particularly by equipping frontline health workers with the tools and strategies needed to effectively engage with hesitant populations.

The webinar will present findings from a European-wide mapping and critical appraisal of interventions, alongside insights from country-level implementation. It will also explore synergies with the co-OPERATOR project, highlighting collaborative approaches to improving vaccine uptake, especially among vulnerable and underserved populations.

The session will conclude with a discussion on the transferability and scalability of effective interventions across EU Member States and the WHO European Region.
