Reopening of Schools of Public Health: ASPHER Rapid Review Survey
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has significantly altered the education environment and few national authorities have specific guidance for reopening higher education campuses.
European SPH could play a critical role in policy and guideline development. By promoting dialogue, SPH can better design and enact policies and recommendations relevant to them.
ASPHER has conducted a rapid review survey in two phases of school reopening plans for a selection of programmes from our Member Network.
WHO-ASPHER Competency Framework for the Public Health Workforce
ASPHER is proud to announce the publication of the WHO-ASPHER Competency Framework for the Public Health Workforce.
The Framework is aimed is aimed at policy-makers, human resources for health planners and professionals with a particular interest in the public health workforce, and other stakeholders, such as education institutions, public health institutes and others responsible for implementing policy and professional organizations.
The Framework is part of the ongoing ASPHER Programme for Public Health Competencies that is being carried forward over the ASPHER 2025 Strategy period by Executive Board Member, Professor Mary Codd.
